The free window is over. As of today, June 23, 2026, Fable 5 is no longer included at no extra cost on claude.ai paid plans — Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise now draw on usage credits to run it, until capacity allows it back as a standard subscription feature.
Nothing else moved. API and consumption-based Enterprise access is unchanged: the same $10/$50 per-MTok pricing, no window, no gate. If you build on the API, today is no different from yesterday.
If you ran your hardest real task during the two-week trial, you already know whether the credits are worth it. If you didn't, the cookbook still works the same — just on metered access now.
